STAPLES -- Geneva R. Glodowski, 82, Staples, died Thursday, Jan. 13, 2000, at the Greater Staples Care Center.
She was born Aug. 2, 1917, in Staples to George and Frances (Becker) Wentworth. She grew up and attended school in Staples. She married L.T. "Tom" Glodowski on Oct. 21, 1939. They lived and worked in Wisconsin, Illinois and North Dakota before returning to Staples in 1945. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
Survivors include her husband; two sons, Eugene Glodowski, Shelton, Wash., and Kenneth Glodowski, Reno, Nev.; a daughter, Kathleen Glodowski, Fairbanks, Alaska; a sister, Cecilia Baker, Moorhead; a brother, Anthony Wentworth, Fergus Falls; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Three brothers, James, Frank and Leo Wentworth, and a sister, Margaret Adair, died earlier.
Services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Staples with Father Tom Becker and Father Lauren Germann officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Hill Cemetery.
Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. Monday at the Brenny Funeral Chapel in Staples.
