(Photo) Ray Norrgard of Brainerd caught the largest walleye of the week, weighing 10-3 pounds, in 20 feet of water. Other large walleyes included two weighing 9-9, by Rick Huber of Brainerd and Barry Aasen, also of Brainerd.

Striking employees of Larco Manufacturing Co. this morning manned a picket line at the firm's entrance. Julie LaDoucer, shop steward for the 82-member Local 2693 said they were seeking union security, better wages and improved working conditions.

Racking up one of the highest scores in school history, the Brainerd Warriors carved up the Aitkin Gobblers on a 77-36 victory platter. Brainerd's home floor win marked its 12th victory in 13 games this season. Ron Gup Hess led Brainerd with 14 points.

Three boys, Bennie Erickson, Mervin Lund and Melvin Satre, all members of the Pioneer Club of Brainerd, hiked to Deerwood on Saturday, a distance of about 20 miles. They left at 1 p.m. and arrived at 6:30, saying they felt a little stiff.

Andy Jones, well known in these parts for his financial manipulation of the Security State bank here, was found guilty by a Fargo jury for wrecking the First National Bank of Rugby, N. D. He was found guilty on 14 of the 15 charges brought against him.
