Established in 1988, the Academics, Arts, and Athletics Award is sponsored by the Minnesota State High School League. The award goes to high school seniors who have a "B" or better grade-point average and who participate in League-sponsored athletic and fine arts activities.

Athletically Noska is involved in volleyball, basketball and track. She has participated at the varsity level for four years in each sport and has been named team captain in all three sports. Noska has made two consecutive trips to the state track meet placing in three events.

Lydeen participates in band, cross country and track. Lydeen's involvement in band has led him to earn two superior ratings and one excellent rating in the solo and ensemble contests. Athletically Nydeen has made three trips to state tournaments - twice in cross country and once in track. He helped his cross country team earn third place honors as a sophomore and junior and qualified for the state track meet last spring. Lydeen carries at 3.3 grade-point average.
