Gayle N. Peters

AITKIN -- Gayle Norine Peters, age 56, of Aitkin, formerly of Burnsville, died on Tuesday, Jan. 13, 2004, at the Cuyuna Regional Medical Center in Crosby.

She was born on Dec. 5, 1947, in Washburn, Wis., to Tiovo and Harriet (Morris) Jacobson. She was a retired special education teacher at Gideon Pond Elementary, Burnsville.

She is survived by husband Gary; son Andrew Peters of Schaumburg III; a daughter, Kelley Rivers of Burnsville; mother Harriet Jacobson of Schaumburg, Ill.; a sister, Joyce Holdgrafer of Schaumburg, Ill.; a grandchild, Sadie Rivers; nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her father.

Funeral services will be 3 p.m. Saturday at the Koop Funeral Home in Crosby. Friends may call on Friday from 5-7 p.m. at the funeral home and one hour prior to services on Saturday. Memorials are preferred to the American Cancer Society.
