The Nisswa Women's Club will meet at noon Thursday at Iven's on the Bay. Ray's Promenaders will have a dance Friday at the Franklin cafeteria. Tom Allen will be the caller. Plus dancing will be at 7:30 p.m. and mainstream dancing will be at 8 p.m. Potluck finger food will follow.
Group for better breathing to begin
BAXTER - Specialty Home Med is forming a group for better breathing. Anyone with chronic lung problems is asked to join the group from 1:30-3:30 p.m. Wednesday at Excelsior Place Community Room in Baxter.
Spaghetti dinner set for Karen Wiser
There will be a spaghetti dinner for Karen Wiser from 5-8 p.m. Jan. 26 at the Brainerd American Legion. A dance will be held also.
Wiser had a massive heart attack in December. Proceeds will go toward her recovery.
Cost for the dinner $5 for adults and $3 for children.
Stress management seminar to begin
"Stress: Beyond Coping, Exploring the Seven Keys," a stress management seminar, will be from 7-8 p.m. beginning Wednesday as well as Jan. 24 and 31 and Feb. 7, 14 and 21, at the Oak Street Christian School in Brainerd.
A six-section workbook is provided for $10.
