STAPLES - Katie Hochsprung commanded the low post and scored a team-high 20 points to go with eight rebounds and three blocked shots as the Little Falls Flyers defeated the Staples-Motley Cardinals 50-35 in non-conference play Saturday.
Whitney Weisz and Carlee Davich each scored seven points and collected 11 and 10 rebounds, respectively, while Paige Beseman scored nine for the Flyers.
Nikki Pearson had a game-high 24 points for the Cardinals.
