It wasn't really a fair race - Dave Guenther's antique auger (left) vs. Sean Spraungel's modified auger - but since the two were the only ones registered in their class, they went ahead with the race. Spraungel drilled his hole in 1.47 seconds and then went over to help Guenther finish drilling his - in 49 seconds. Brainerd Dispatch/Kelly Humphrey
