W-DC shoots down Willmar

WILLMAR - Trevor Ness had two goals and two assists for the Wadena-Deer Creek Wolverines as they defeated the Willmar Cardinals 6-4 in non-conference boys' hockey Friday.

Brandon Wing had two goals and an assist and Wyatt Pettit had two goals for the Wolverines.

Chris McCullough tallied 42 saves as Willmar peppered him with 46 shots on goal including 26 in the third period.
