VOX POP

I find it very alarming that the two holdover board members from during the strike want to maintain the largest C-I budget surplus in the most difficult of financial times! Why? These two cannot say it's about the kids, or they're for programs for kids or they have the community's interest at heart. They can only reflect their disdain and dislike for staff, teachers and students in the classrooms. What is the leadership of our school doing?

To the person or persons who turned in my brown purse from the cart outside of Wal-mart last week. I want to say a great big thank you for being honest. Thank God for people like you.

Uneducated moron

This is to the person who wrote in about cigarettes being illegal. Let's remember that you have your opinion and everyone else has theirs on what they should do. There is common courtesy that is involved in smoking but there are many things in society that are not good for you that you just don't abolish just because you don't approve of them. You sound like an uneducated moron.

Mixing church and state?

I may be wrong but is letting churches have a say with the school board going against the Constitution of mixing church and state? Vox Pop is a wonderful column allowing people to voice their opinion without fear of retaliation.
