Austin E. Rieger
TEMPE, Ariz. - Austin Eugene Rieger, 22, passed away at his home in Tempe, Ariz., on Jan. 8, 2008.
Austin was born on July 5, 1985, in Fargo, N.D. He later moved to Crosslake, Minn., and graduated from Pequot Lakes HS in 2003. He loved growing up on the lake, fishing and boating and along with his brother, he enjoyed pheasant hunting. Austin moved to Tempe, Ariz., to attend college and found a love of hiking in the mountains.
He will be missed and survived by his parents, Dale and Judy Rieger, of Breezy Point, Minn., and Jim and Charlene Madden-Everette, of Mesa, Ariz.; siblings, Annalisa, Paige, Danielle, Corey and Cassandra; brothers-in-law, Billy and Anthony; aunts and uncles, Clayton and Cheryl Rieger, Jan and Sandy Rieger, Dan and Bonnie Rieger, Niles, James and Cindy Madden; grandparents, Marjorie Rieger, Gene and Rita Schmidt and James and Martha Madden.
Austin was perceeded in death by his grandfather, Wiley Rieger.
Funeral will be at Zion United Methodist Church, rural Walcott, N.D., on Jan 16 at 11 a.m.
