Joyce C. Anderson

BAXTER - Joyce Caroline Anderson, at age 79, Baxter, left this earth on Friday, Jan. 4, 2008. She was residing at the Excelsior Place of Baxter at the time of her death and under hospice care. Joyce was born July 20, 1928, at the Little Falls Hospital to William and Mabelle Anderson. They moved to Brainerd where she was educated and graduated from Washington High School. Joyce attended St. Cloud Business College and worked as a secretary for Honeywell in Minneapolis. She returned to Brainerd to care for her mother and worked many years in the Crow Wing County Recorder's office at the courthouse. Joyce was a very caring person, helping her friends and family as she could.

Joyce was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Homer Anderson.

She is survived by her brother, Larry Anderson, Connecticut; two nephews and one niece; sister-in-law, Marlis Anderson, Worthington; and several cousins.

In accordance with Joyce's wishes, no services will be held.
