Jane L. Moen
Jane L. Moen, age 85, of Brainerd, passed away on Tuesday, Jan. 8, 2008, at Edgewood Vista in Brainerd.
Jane was born May 4, 1922, in Minneapolis to Arthur and Lillian LaFerte. She graduated from St. Margaret's Academy in Minneapolis in 1940. She then attended the University of Minnesota.
Following her schooling, she was employed at the advertising agency of BBD&O.
Jane was united in marriage to Rolf Moen on May 13, 1950, and made her home in Minnetonka, Minn.

Jane was a member of Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church in Minnetonka and St. Christopher's Catholic Church in Nisswa.
She was an exceptional homemaker, a great mother and a loving wife. She enjoyed traveling and playing bridge, but her real passion was spending time with her family.
Jane moved to Brainerd in 2001 where she lived until the time of her death.
She is survived by a son, Dr. Rolf Moen, and wife, Diane, of Nisswa; a daughter, Lisa Edgeton, and husband, Randy, of Minnetonka; and five grandchildren, Scott, Steven, Kelsey and Hannah Moen and Heidi Edgeton.
She was preceded in death by husband, Rolf, in 1996; brother, Judd; and sisters, Joan and June.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11 a.m. on Friday, Jan. 11, 2008, at St. Christopher's Catholic Church in Nisswa with Father George Zeck officiating. Burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery in Shorewood, Minn. Friends may call from 10 a.m. until the time of the service on Friday at St. Christopher's.
