The regular January meeting of the Crow Wing Soil and Water Conservation District Board of Supervisors has been moved to 1 p.m. on Tuesday at the USDA Service Center conference room at 7118 Clearwater Road in Baxter.
The board meeting will revert to its normal schedule in February. Regular meetings are open to the public and at 9 a.m. on the third Tuesday of each month in the Ag Service Center.
Anderson Fund seeks grant applications
In partnership with the Initiative Foundation, the Anderson Brothers Family Fund is seeking grant applications for projects beginning this summer.
The fund, created by the Jim and Linnea Anderson family and Anderson Brothers Construction of Brainerd, will distribute $25,000 to five to 10 programs supporting children and families, senior citizens, economic development or environmental preservation. Nonprofits, schools and government agencies may apply.
Projects must be volunteer driven and demonstrate financial need within Crow Wing County, southern Cass County, northern Morrison County (including Little Falls) or the Park Rapids area.
Grant inquiries must be submitted online by March 14 for projects beginning July 1 or later.
