MONT DU LAC, Wis. - Powered by four top-10 finishers in each race, the Brainerd Warrior boys claimed a first-place finish and the girls a runner-up finish in the Cloquet-Esko-Carlton Invite on Thursday.
Led by Bror Linnerooth's third-place finish, the boys captured their fourth title in five meets this season.
Other top-10 finishers for the boys were Ryan Weihemuller in fifth place, Rian Hutchison in seventh and Thomas Ruttger in eighth.
The girls were led by fourth-place Taryn Ruttger, Savannah Stone in sixth place, Gina Engel in seventh and Katie Hutchison in eighth.
