Breezy Point Resort on Pelican Lake will be the site of Ice Fest on Friday and Saturday, with bonfires and karaoke contests both nights, and an ice slide, ice sculpture/ice bar, snow golf, human bowling, radar runs, horse sleigh rides and power ice auger contest during the day Saturday.

There will be fireworks at 7 p.m. Saturday, and an ice dance at 8:15 p.m. Saturday.

Chain Reaction

A Chain Reaction Festival will take place Friday through Sunday in Cass Lake.

Highlights include a large ice fishing and spearing contest, snowmobile radar runs, an arts and crafts show, a White Sidewalls concert, treasure hunt, snow sculptures, Wild Game Dinner Theater and a children's fishing derby Sunday.

Bring on Jo Dee

Jo Dee Messina, who sings the duet "Bring on the Rain" with Tim McGraw, will be in concert Friday and Saturday at Grand Casino Mille Lacs.

Shows are 8 p.m. each night. Tickets are $39 and $29 at the Grand Casino box office.
