CROSBY -- Lillian Linn, 99, Crosby, died Tuesday, Jan. 7, 2003, an hour before her 100th birthday, at the Cuyuna Regional Care Center in Crosby.
She was born Jan. 8, 1903, in Fairmont to Randolph Neuenschwander and Matilda Rosskolf. She lived in the Malmo community for many years and later was a resident of Maryhill Manor in Aitkin for more than 30 years. She was a resident of Aicota Health Care Center in Aitkin the past four years. She gave 500 hours of community service every year while at Maryhill Manor.
Survivors include four daughters, Mildred Linn, Seal Beach, Calif., Lucille Jacobson, Phoenix, Cleo Ruschmeier, Norwalk, Calif., and Betty Tarr, Brooklyn Park; a son, Larry Linn, Brooklyn Park; 13 grandchildren; and 23 great-grandchildren.
Her husband and three sons, an infant, Leo, and Marlyn and Donald, died earlier.
Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Bethlehem Lutheran Church with the Rev. Jason Talsness and James Jacobson officiating. Burial will be in Bethlehem Cemetery.
Friends may call from 5-7 p.m. Friday at Sorensen-Root-Thompson Funeral Home in Aitkin and an hour before services Saturday at the church.
