Pillager boys roll past Lake Region

PILLAGER -- Jeff Eastman collected 14 points and 10 rebounds to lead the Pillager Huskies boys' basketball team past the Lake Region Christian School Hornets 72-27 Tuesday.

Lee Roberts added 13 points and seven assists for the Huskies. Mark Gaalswyk knocked in 11 points and Adam Brown finished with seven points, seven assists, six steals and three blocked shots.

CROSBY -- The Detroit Lakes Lakers scored 24 first-quarter points and cruised past the Crosby-Ironton Rangers 70-52 in a Mid-State Conference boys' basketball game Tuesday.

Tyler Scull paced the Rangers with 19 points. Ben Baratto added 12 points and seven rebounds as C-I fell to 4-6 overall.
