Kimman, Pierz drop East Central

PIERZ - Katie Kimman finished with 25 points and 14 rebounds to lead the Pierz Pioneers past East Central 62-54 Monday in non-conference girls' basketball.

Gabrielle Boser contributed 14 points and eight rebounds while Kaari Jensen added seven points, seven rebounds and three steals. Kelsey Saehr hit three 3-pointers to finish with 10 points for the Pioneers, which attempted 46 free throws and connected on 57 percent of them to improve to 8-4 overall.
