Area performers to stage fund-raiser

PEQUOT LAKES -- Area talent will perform at 7:30 p.m. Jan. 17 when The Greater Lakes Area Performing Arts presents a fund-raiser for the Pequot Lakes Theatre.

Tickets for "Wintersong II: A Musical Celebration" are $8 for adults and $7 for children under 12.

Tickets are available at Pequot Lakes Community Education, (218) 568-9200, or at the theater door the night of the event.

"Wintersong II" will be hosted by David Allen Pundt and Esther O'Donald Fruth. Music, song and dance all will be offered.

Performers include pianists Renee Anderson and Don Jackson; vocal musicians Nancy Waller, Ralph DeWitt, Sharon Hartley, Lissa Waller, Fruth and Ernest Teie; and performers Craig Anderson and Thor Thorson. The Bell Choir from Our Saviors Lutheran Church will perform.
