Workers are now installing the super calender at the Northwest Paper Co. The super calender is the machine which puts the finish on the new coated paper. The coating process is being added at the Northwest Paper Company as part of a $3.5 million expansion progress.

The story of how, in a cafe which boasted no empty booths, two Brainerd men came in contact with one another somewhere in England, was told in a letter from Lt. Parker Campbell to his parents. In the cafe he learned that Lt. George Fisher was nearby.
