Injury accident in Brainerd

A 53-year-old Brainerd woman was injured in a two-vehicle collision at 9:53 a.m. Wednesday at South Fourth and Park streets, the Brainerd Police Department reported. Vera Horn was injured after her vehicle collided with a vehicle driven by Daniel Fromm, 26, Fort Ripley. Horn was transported by North Ambulance to St. Joseph's Medical Center in Brainerd, where she was treated and later released. Fromm was not injured. Icy roads were a factor in the crash, police said.
