DETROIT LAKES - Hannah McAllister and Pat Mangan continue to rack up top five finishes to lead the Brainerd Warriors Nordic ski teams.
Tuesday was no different as McAllister finished fourth in a grueling 10-kilometer race at the Detroit Lakes Invite to land the Warriors girls' team in second. McAllister finished with a time of 33:06 followed by Amanda Finstad in seventh with a 35:17.
"We are very close to Bemidji and we were missing a varsity athlete today," said Warrior head coach Nicole Kellerman. "A few of the junior varsity times were quicker than the varsity classic times."
Mangan finished fifth with a 28:52 to lead the Warrior boys' team to third.
"Pat continues to stay in the top five so I'm hoping for big things from him," said Kellerman. "Josh Murrey and Cole Sundquist had good classic times in the junior varsity race that fit with the varsity times so we'll throw them up there and see how they do."
