CROSBY -- The Crosby-Ironton Senior Citizens Club will have its first meeting and potluck meal of the new year at 11:30 a.m. Saturday at the Cuyuna Range Community Center in Crosby.
Those attending are reminded to bring their own dishes, silver and something to share for the meal. Coffee will be provided. Hostesses will be Doris Danielson and Pat Richter.
Following the meeting and meal, Wes Miller will play old favorites on the keyboard.
All area senior citizens are welcome and invited to join the club. Dues for 2004 remain at $1 and are payable at this meeting.
Staples Motley Community Education offers quilt, exercise classes
STAPLES -- Staples Motley Community Education offers upcoming classes on quilting and exercising. Call (218) 894-2497 to register.
Quilt 'Til You Wilt will start at 9 a.m. Saturday at the Farm Quilt Haus, 11862 261st Ave., Staples. Cost is $10. Pre-registration is required.
Participants will bring patterns, fabrics and ideas for a day of finishing projects.
I Can't Dance, Don't Ask Me Aerobics will run for 17 sessions for $28 in the Central Lakes College Assembly Room in Staples. Sessions will run 6:30 to 7:30 a.m. Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays, or 4:45 to 5:45 p.m. Mondays, Tuesdays and Fridays.
The aerobics will be low impact and involve simple steps.
