HINCKLEY -- The Aitkin Gobblers squeaked by the Hinckley-Finlayson Jaguars 61-59 in Great River Conference basketball play Thursday night.
Leading the Gobblers was Brandon Siemers, who had a double-double with 28 points and ten rebounds.
Aitkin is now 2-1 in the Great River Conference and 4-2 overall. Their next game is at East Central on Tuesday at 7:30 p.m.
"We had a good team effort all around," said Gobblers head coach Greg Hills. "The guys played well coming off a two-week break without a game."
