Ironic

I find it so ironic that a tight wad conservative wants to desperately build more prisons to house more inmates. It is clearly known that Republicans refuse to pay taxes for any social need so where is the money going to come from? Will you pay more taxes Mr. "Blame the Liberal Courts," or just keep blaming those darn liberals. Put your money where your mouth is.

Get a life

I'm a little sick of people coming to Brainerd and expecting special treatment. I know a lady who is physically challenged (wheelchair bound). Also she is hearing impaired (deaf). She doesn't have a signer but she does the best she can. She also works full time to help support herself, so get a life.

Where is the compassion?

I can't believe the outcry for animal rights. Harming animals needlessly is wrong but the Bible says to kill and eat animals. What bothers me is where is the same outcry and compassion for innocent aborted babies' rights who certainly suffer while being murdered daily. Humans have souls. Animals don't.

Who's in charge?

Who is and will be pulling the strings of the new Iraqi puppet regime? None other than the men who are in and being put forth as the new rulers of U.S.-conquered Iraq. They belong to such groups as the Council on Foreign Relations and the Trilateral Commission and are tied to Israel and the big oil corporations.
