DULUTH (AP) -- Six different players scored for St. Cloud State as the Huskies beat Minnesota-Duluth 6-3 Friday night.
Mark Gunderson began the scoring on a power-play goal 2:03 in the first period for Duluth (4-15-2, 1-11-2 WCHA). Brian Gaffaney responded with a goal to put St. Cloud on the scoreboard at 5:26.
The Huskies (14-4-1, 9-4-0) then shut out the Bulldogs in the second period. St. Cloud pulled away to a 3-1 lead with goals from Ryan Malone on a power play at 7:07 and then by Mark Hartigan at 18:45.
Mike Walsh opened scoring in the third period with an unassisted goal for the Huskies at 6:19. Duluth came back as Junior Lessard put one in the net at 9:53.
Tyler Arnason had a power-play goal and then Jon Cullen shot a short-handed score to put St. Cloud up 6-2 at 11:34.
The scoring ended with a power-play goal by Jon Francisco for Duluth.
