Arthur 'Bud' Nelson

AITKIN - Arthur "Bud" Nelson, age 86, of Aitkin, died Wednesday, Jan. 2, 2008, at the Riverwood Healthcare Center in Aitkin, Minn.

A memorial service will be held Tuesday, Jan. 8, 2008, at 11 a.m. from the Aitkin United Methodist Church with the Rev. Judith Clark officiating. A Masonic service will be held Monday at 7 p.m. with visitation time starting at 6 p.m. at the Sorensen-Root-Thompson Funeral Home in Aitkin. Interment will be at the Minnesota Veterans Cemetery at Camp Ripley near Little Falls, Minn. Military honors will be provided by the Aitkin American Legion and VFW Posts. Arrangements are with the Sorensen-Root-Thompson Funeral Home in Aitkin.
