Pierz wins meet

ROCKFORD -- The Pierz Pioneers wrestlers pounded both the Rockford Rockets 53-18 and the Holdingford Huskers 56-6 in the Rockford Triangular Tuesday.

The Pioneers had a combined 14 pins between the two matches. Heavyweight Osse Stumpf took credit for two, downing Jacob Stumpf of Holdingford in 44 seconds and Mike Heinz of Rockford in 1:10. Joe Hyatt, Tom Britz, Joe Kloss and Mark Andres also recorded two pins for Pierz.
