Irene Niemeyer

Irene D. Niemeyer, 91, 804 Wright St., died Tuesday, Jan. 4, news, at Bethany Good Samaritan Village, Brainerd.

She was born May 12, 1908, in Chatfield to Frederick and Mary (Bicknese) Schwier. She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church.

Survivors include two sons, Lyle Niemeyer, Brainerd, and Ronald Niemeyer, Brainerd; six grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Raymond Schwier, Wykoff, and Ervin Schwier, Wykoff; and two sisters, Mildred Grabou, Wykoff, and Dorothy Nesler, Rochester.

Her husband, Clarence, who died May 8, 1990, and four brothers died earlier.

Services will be 2 p.m. Friday at Zion Lutheran Church with Pastor Alfred Luehmann officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery. Friends may call from noon until time of services Friday at the church.
