STAPLES - Eileen Koppes, of Staples, passed away peacefully early Thursday morning, Jan. 1, 2009, at her home in rural Staples. Mass of Christian Burial will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 6, 2009, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Staples with Father Gregory Mastey officiating. Interment will be in Evergreen Hill Cemetery at Staples. Wake services will be from 4-8 p.m. Monday, Jan. 5, at the Brenny Funeral Chapel of Staples. There will be parish prayers beginning at 7:30 p.m. Monday.
