John J. "Jack" Sisterman, age 86 years, formerly of Brainerd lakes area. Previous Navigator of 4th Degree Nicollet Assembly of Knights of Columbus and 3rd Degree member of Excelsior Assembly. Past vice-commander of Nisswa Billie Brown American Legion Post. WWII veteran of Army/Air Force and served in the South Pacific. Twenty-five year volunteer at St. Joseph's Hospital, past president of Minnesota Heart Association, Memorial Chairman of American Cancer Society, R.S.V.P. member and outstanding senior citizen for Crow Wing County 2004. Former employee of NSP.
Survived by loving wife, Muriel; and her children, Kathy (Larry) Wrobel, Mike (Jennifer) Resch, Steve (Wendy) Resch, Suzette (Steve) Budahn and Cindy Hrbacek; 13 wonderful grandchildren; and eight very lovely great-grandchildren; sisters, Pat (Ed) Kelley and Joan Compton; brother, William (Carol) Sisterman; many nieces, nephews and friends. Preceded in death by brother, Bob Sisterman; sister, Helen Patee; and first wife, Vivian.

Mass of Christian Burial will be at the Church of the Holy Cross, 17th Ave. NE and University, Minneapolis, Tuesday at 6 p.m. with visitation from 4:30 p.m. until time of services. Memorials preferred to the church in lieu of flowers. Arrangements with Kozlak-Radulovich Chapel.
