ALEXANDRIA -- Katie Perpich won the balance beam and vault on her way to winning the all-around and leading the Brainerd Warriors to a 144.9-122.55 victory over the Alexandria Cardinals Thursday in Central Lakes Conference gymnastics.

Kathleen Lorenz won the uneven parallel bars and the floor exercise for the Brainerd sweep.

"Katie Perpich had a nice night," said Warrior coach Dave Maras. "A couple kids on our vault are starting to look good. We had a few mistakes, but that's to be expected after a break."

Perpich scored an 8.75 on the beam, a 9.35 on the floor and a 36.5 for the all-around. Lorenz was second on the all-around with a 36.25.
