MONTICELLO -- Albert Maki, 87, Monticello, formerly of Brainerd, died Wednesday, Dec. 29, 1999, at the Parkview Care Center in Buffalo, where he lived for the past three years.
He was born on March 31, 1912 in Tower, to William and Rosa "Tuorila" Maki. He served in the Air Force during World War II. He later owned and operated a Mobil Station in Brainerd and was also a member of the Brainerd American Legion Post. He lived in Monticello for some years prior to entering the Parkview Care Center.
Survivors include a brother, J. Walter Maki, Boston.
Two sisters and four brothers died earlier.
Services will be 4 p.m. today at the Range Funeral Home in Virginia, Minn.
Friends may call today from 3 p.m. until the service hour at the funeral home, with spring burial in Hillside Cemetery, Angora with Pastor Kenneth R. Tamte officiating.
Arrangements are with Peterson-Grimsmo Chapel in Monticello.
