Catherine 'Katie' Fleischhacker
Catherine "Katie" (Veit) Fleischhacker, 95, Brainerd, died Friday, Dec. 28, 2001, at Bethany Good Samaritan Village.
She was born Feb. 22, 1906, in Swift County to August and Cornelia (Freberger) Veit. She married Henry Fleischhacker on June 19, 1924. She was a member of St. Francis Catholic Church, Senior Citizens Center and Brainerd VFW Auxiliary.
Survivors include one son, Gerald "Bud" Fleischhacker, Brainerd; three daughters, Deloris Mogensen, Brainerd, Mrs. Howard (Lois) DeRosier, Brainerd, and Rose Mogensen, Brainerd; 17 grandchildren; 41 great-grandchildren; 26 great-great-grandchildren.
Her husband and a daughter, Betty (Tugwell) Doepke, died earlier.
Services were planned this morning at St. Francis Catholic Church with Father Bill Skarich officiating followed by burial in Oak Grove Cemetery.
Arrangements were with Nelson-Doran Funeral Home in Brainerd.
