MOOSE LAKE -- A two-goal third period lifted Moose Lake/Willow River to a 4-2 boys' hockey win over Pequot Lakes Saturday night.
Following a scoreless first period Pequot's Chase Nelson scored early in the second period. After ML-WR tied it Chuck Shin scored to make it 2-1 for Pequot but the lead was short-lived as ML/WR tied it before the end of the period.
Pequot goalie Cole Peterson save 25 of the 29 shots fired at him.

LITTLE FALLS -- Jamestown, N.D., defeated Little Falls 7-1 Saturday night in the final game of the Little Falls boys hockey tournament.
Paul Herman scored for the Flyers in the first period, assisted by Chris Dobis and Eric Rakow. Herman and teammate Isaac Smieja were named to the all-tournament team.
