Marie J. Sullivan, 81, Brainerd, died Monday, Jan. 1, 2001, at St. Joseph's Medical Center in Brainerd.
She was born Dec. 13, 1919, in Estherville, Iowa, to John and Grace (Blank) Griewe. She married Thomas R. Sullivan on June 20, 1931, in Minneapolis.
Survivors include two daughters, Dee Ruttger, Elk River, and Carole Olson, Andover; three sons, Tom Sullivan, Georgia, Dan Sullivan, Louisiana, and Larry Sullivan, Virginia; 14 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Lottie Hagberg, Brainerd.
Her husband and a sister died earlier.
Private services will be held. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery in Brainerd.
Arrangements are with Halvorson-Johnson Funeral Home in Brainerd.
