LITTLE FALLS -- Three suspects were arrested Friday for the Thursday robbery of a gas station in Royalton. A fourth person was arrested Saturday.
The sheriff's department, along with the Little Falls and Royalton police departments, arrested the three 16-year-olds, two males and a female, Friday in Little Falls in connection with the robbery of the Royal 66 convenience store in Royalton.
A fourth suspect, a 17-year-old male, was arrested Saturday.
The suspects are also believed responsible for two November robberies in Little Falls, the Morrison County Sheriff's Department said.
Ernie Klimek, Morrison County sheriff's chief deputy, said statements from suspects unveiled evidence against them in connection with the Nov. 18 robbery at a Subway restaurant in Little Falls and the Nov. 19 robbery of the east side Casey's service station in Little Falls.
A gun was used in all three robberies. Klimek said some of the money from the Royalton robbery was recovered.
The four suspects were transported to a juvenile detention center pending formal charges, which are expected today or Wednesday, Klimek said.
A fifth suspect, a 16-year-old from Little Falls, was questioned by authorities and released to his parents.
