PINE RIVER - Jennifer Nelson, age 32, of Pine River, died Saturday, Dec. 29, 2007, at St. Cloud Hospital. Mass of Christian Burial will be Thursday, Jan. 3, at 11 a.m. at St. Francis Catholic Church in Brainerd. Friends may visit at Brenny Funeral Chapel in Baxter on Wednesday, Jan. 2, from 5-7 p.m.
Jennifer was born June 13, 1975, in Minneapolis to Daniel Kyllingstad and Diane Herron. She moved with her parents to Brainerd at an early age and then to Pine River. Jennifer worked at Integrity Instruments. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She loved the outdoors, including camping and gardening, her pets, making arts and crafts, playing bingo and car racing.

Jennifer is survived by her husband, Jack Nelson Jr.; a daughter, Katelin Killingstad, Pine River; a son, Jack Nelson III, Pine River; her mother, Diane Herron, Merrifield; her father, Dan Kyllingstad, Minneapolis; her stepfather, Neil Kempka, Pine River; her sisters, Renee Kempka, Eugene, Ore., and Sarah Kempka, Merrifield; her brothers, Anthony Kempka, Pine River, and Nathan Kempka, Pine River; her grandparents, John and Gail Herron, Baxter; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Services entrusted to Brenny Funeral Chapel of Baxter.
