Titus Cole of the Brainerd Lumberjacks was named the most valuable defensive player in the All-American Bowl game Dec. 17 at Mall of America Field at the Metrodome.
Cole recorded 1.5 sacks, seven tackles and three tackles for losses on his way to the award.
Lumberjacks teammates Trevor Gross, Brad Simpson and Erick Johnson also competed.
Gross had two receptions for 30 yards and two kickoff returns for 42 yards. Simpson had two catches for 20 yards and one rush for nine yards. Johnson collected three sacks and forced a fumble.
