No. 1 Northland bests Raider women
THIEF RIVER FALLS — Taalyr Egeness and Lindsay Monson each scored 14 points as the Central Lakes College Raiders lost 73-44 to sixth-ranked Northland Pioneers in a Northern Division game Wednesday in Thief River Falls.
The Raiders, who were out-shot 49-30 by the Pioneers, ended a five-game winning streak but are tied for second place in the Northern Division. Northland, with a 16-1 record, is leading the division.
“We just ran into a buzzsaw tonight,” said Raiders head coach Dennis Eastman. “They were hot. Everything they put up went in.”
