THIEF RIVER FALLS — Andre Thomas scored a game-high 18 points as the Central Lakes College Raiders men’s basketball team won it’s third consecutive game, beating the Northland Pioneers 71-59 Wednesday in a Northern Division game.
Kevin Kuefler added 10 points for the Raiders, who shot 66 percent from the line compared to the 44 percent put up by the last-place Pioneers.
“Overall, we played well,” said Raider head coach Jim Russell. “We played together as a team well with good balance. We felt like we knew that going on the road, we were going to be down and for them to shoot that many free throws compared to us shows that we played at the tempo needed to get the win.”
