The Central Lakes Raiders took care of business Friday night as they dispatched Rainy River in three games to remain perfect in Northern Division play at 12-0.
Lindsay Monson finished with 15 kills and Alanna Hansen collected nine for the Raiders, ranked fifth in NJCAA Division III. They also swept the season series from Rainy River after beating them in three straight games back on September 25th.
Hayley Hornick and Sarah Miller totaled 13 and 12 digs each and Tiffany Hartung tipped 37 set assists.
“It was a team effort with a little bit of a change in our starting line up as Kelana Wurtinger got the start tonight,” said head coach Jane Peterson. “Everyone served well and everyone was working and focusing on a lot of little things. A lot of people played well and there was a level of maturity which was good to see.”
