DE PERE, Wis. – Brainerd High School graduate Tom Lyscio recorded the 12th-best throw in NCAA Division III this season with a runner-up finish in the hammer throw as the St. Scholastica men’s team placed third Saturday at the St. Norbert Invitational.
Lyscio threw a program-record mark of 184-10, more than two meters farther than his previous school record.
The Saints will compete at the St. Mary’s Open next Saturday in Winona.
