Maurice Hernandez, a sophomore forward for the Central Lakes College Raiders, was named the Minnesota College Athletic Conference Southern Division Player of the Week ending Jan. 14.
Hernandez helped the Raiders (17-0 and ranked No. 1 in NJCAA Division III) stay unbeaten by averaging 25.5 points and 10.5 rebounds in two division wins last week.
He shot 65 percent from the field and was 12-of-14 at the free throw line.
