Central Lakes College may not have a skill position player like Jontel Clayton of Iowa Central Community College.

But the Raiders have a top-shelf group of players who hope to secure the program’s first bowl win in three years when CLC plays Iowa Central in the Graphic Edge Bowl on Sunday at the UNI Dome in Cedar Falls.

Through the regular season (9 games), CLC quarterback Carson Wessinger completed 91 of 166 passes (54.8 percent) for 1,043 yards and 14 TDs with 13 interceptions.

Ryan Tri is CLC’s top receiver with 19 catches for 236 yards and four scores. Averey Duncan also has 19 grabs for 376 yards and eight TDs.

Aaron Wright and Taz Seibert lead the CLC rushing attack with 524 and 468 yards, respectively, and have combined to score nine TDs.

Duncan led the Southern Division in scoring (58 total points) and led in kickoff returns (48.3 yards per return).

Devonte Hawkins and Jordan Hayes averaged 24.3 and 23.6 yards, respectively, per kickoff return.

Defensively, Greg Wright and Austin Manzey were CLC’s top tacklers with 56 and 51, respectively. Jared Hoemberg and Dan Ngandali each picked off four passes and Matt Mogere snagged three.
