The 15th-ranked Central Lakes College Raiders have accepted an invitation to play in the first of two Graphic Edge Bowl games Nov. 20 at Cedar Falls, Iowa.
CLC will play unranked Iowa Central Community College of Fort Dodge at 11 a.m. in the UNI Dome on the campus of the University of Northern Iowa.
The Raiders finished the regular season with a 7-2 record. ICCC is 5-4.
The ICCC Tritons compete in the Midwest Football Conference, which includes Ellsworth and 11th-ranked Iowa Western from Iowa; DuPage, Harper and Joliet from Illinois; 11-0 MFC champion and fourth-ranked Grand Rapids Community College of Michigan; and North Dakota State College of Science in Wahpeton, N.D.
CLC lost its final regular-season game Oct. 22 to Ridgewater, 26-14, and missed the state playoffs for the first time in four years.
Since 2007, CLC has won 41 games and lost just 13.
In 2009, Ellsworth defeated CLC 64-7 in the Graphic Edge Bowl.
At 3 p.m. Nov. 20, 10th-ranked and unbeaten Rochester, champion of the Minnesota College Athletic Conference, will play Iowa Western in the Graphic Edge Bowl feature game.
