There may be no one sadder to see Christmas break come than head coach Jim Russell and the Central Lakes College Raiders.
The Raiders continued their undefeated roll Saturday with a 99-69 victory over Rainy River at the CLC Winter Classic.
CLC is ranked No. 4 in Division III of the NJCAA and is a perfect 15-0 for the first time in school history.
Marcus Ayala led all scorers with 22 points and was one of five Raiders in double figures. Anthony Kelly came off the bench to score 18, Kendall Brown finished with 14, Maurice Hernandez 13 and Nash Faulk 10.
The Raiders scored more than 90 points for the 10th time this season, shooting 50 percent from the field.
