The six-race Bracket Drag Racing Series concludes this weekend with the final race that will determine series champions in 10 different classes.
Most of the classes are up for grabs, with a number of drivers vying for the top of the point standings so fans can expect competitive drag racing this weekend.
The race has extra meaning for most of the drivers. They can earn points toward a series championship but they also have the chance to hoist a Wally trophy by winning their class.
This weekend is BIR’s National Dragster Challenge where winners of the Super Pro, Pro ET, Sportsman, Pro Bike/Sled, Comp Trophy and Street Trophy classes are rewarded with the maximum number of points and a Wally trophy, just like the pros win during the Full Throttle Drag Racing Series.
The Bracket Drag Racing Series features dragsters, cars, trucks, motorcycles, snowmobiles and Junior Dragsters for students under age 18.
Racing starts at 9 a.m. Saturday. Eliminations begin at 9 a.m. Sunday.
Daily admission is $15 for adults, $5 for students ages 6-12 and free for kids 5 and younger. Every ticket includes a pit pass. Camping is free with a multi-day ticket.
