BARROWS — There were repeat champions and also a few new ones during the second night of the Mighty Axe Nationals Sunday night at North Central Speedway.
Shane Sabraski won two more Axes after claiming three Saturday. Sabraski won the Midwest Modified and the Super Stock championship.
Justin Jones was able to break up Sabraski’s momentum with a victory in the A Modified feature.
Dustin Zieski was a winner in the Mod 4 class and Robert Mueller was the winner in the Pure Stock feature.
Tim Johnson grabbed his second Mighty Axe in as many nights with a feature win in the Super Stock class.
David Deters and Ashley Mehrwerth were winners in the Hornet races.
