Jacob Ellingson netted his second goal of the night in overtime to give the Brainerd Warriors a 6-5 Central Lakes Conference win over the Sartell Sabres Tuesday at Brainerd Area Civic Center.
The win snapped a three-game losing streak for the Warriors.
Nathan DeChaine and Chris Pohlkamp assisted on the winning goal.
Brainerd held leads of 3-1 and 5-3, but were unable to contain the Sabres, who tallied four goals in the third period to force the overtime.
Griffin Campbell scored the only goal of the opening period, while Ellingson and William Desrocher found the net to give Brainerd a 3-1 lead after two.
Sartell opened the third with a pair of short-handed goals by Matthew Ringhand and Aaron Randall before the Warriors responded with power play goals by Matt Casperson and Thomas Stoxen.
The Warriors outshot Sartell 33-24 with Brainerd goalie Brady Mick registering 19 saves.
The Warriors improved to 5-1 in the conference, 8-5 overall.
